The event will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The site is located just 20 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport and within one mile of Knoxville's Historic District, the renovated World's Fair Site, wonderful museums and restaurants, and the University of Tennessee. Knoxville and Oak Ridge are served by Knoxville's McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). The airport web site has links to schedules and carriers. The meeting venue is about 20 miles (30-minute drive) from the airport. Limo service is available through Executive Sedans and Limos. Approximate 1-way fare to the Knoxville Marriott is $30 for 1 person, and $20 for 2-4 persons. There are also several car rental companies at the McGhee Tyson Airport, as well as taxi service. The Knoxville Convention Center is located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee, off Interstate 40. A short section of I-40 between James White Parkway (exit 388A) and Hall of Fame Drive (exit 389) was closed until June 30, 2009 for reconstruction. The Convention Center is at the corner of Henley and Clinch Ave. Westbound on I-40: Follow I-40 West toward Knoxville. At mile marker 393 follow Downtown/Local Traffic Only sign (left two lanes). Take Exit 389 (Hall of Fame Drive). Turn left onto Hall of Fame Drive. Follow Hall of Fame Drive to the 5th traffic light and turn right onto Summit Hill Drive. Continue on Summit Hill Drive to the 6th traffic light and turn left onto Henley Street. The Knoxville Convention Center will be ahead on the right. Southbound on I-275: At the I-275/I-40 interchange, bear right onto 441 South (Henley Street). The Convention Center is on the right at the corner of Henley Street and Clinch Ave. Northbound (from airport): Take 129 North. Take ramp I-40 East (Ashville) stay in the right lane to Exit 388 onto 441 South (Henley Street), drive to Henley Street. The Convention Center is on the right at the corner of Henley Street and Clinch Avenue.
KAT/TROLLEY Downtown Knoxville has several parking garages and lots around the Center. Parking is FREE in all city-owned garages (to include Locust Street Garage) after 6pm and on weekends.
